In order to log time against a Project in BCWorks, Resources must be added, scheduled, and approved on a Project.
Anyone who has the role of BCWorks Manager or Alternate Manager on a project can request a Resource with a schedule.  The Resource Request will then be sent to the resource’s Resource Manager’s inbox for approval.
To add a Resource 
1. Click on 'View Applications' in upper left corner

 
2. Choose 'Projects' Application and new tab will appear.

2. Within the Projects tab, on the left menu, select the name of a project. 

3. Within the Project record, scroll down in the left navigation pane and select Resources.

4.  Then select the Action menu and choose Add Resources.

5.  In the next screen, type the name of the Resource you need to add and click the Search button.

6.  Check the box next to the person’s name and then click on the Next. button.

7. On the next page, enter the number of hours per month that you expect the Resource to work on the project and add any details about their role within the Description text box. Click Save.

8.  A resource request has been sent to the Resource’s Manager for approval.
